Dual technologies, zero worries about thickness | GWEIKE Laser–Flame Hybrid Cutting Machine debuts

Conventional cutters have single-track capabilities and struggle to fit diverse production scenarios. Equipping multiple dedicated machines not only raises CAPEX but also slows production scheduling.

The GWEIKE laser–flame hybrid cutter integrates pure laser and laser–oxy-fuel hybrid modes, achieving seamless cutting across 1–200 mm plate thicknesses, making cutting simpler and more efficient.

Two modes switch rapidly, laser excels at thin/medium-thickness sheets, the laser–flame hybrid handles thick plates with ease—one system that plays to each technology’s strengths.

Laser delivers rapid pre-heat piercing, flame delivers high-quality thick-plate cutting, overcoming the thickness and efficiency bottlenecks of conventional methods, with better edge perpendicularity and surface finish.

The laser–flame hybrid head supports flexible switching—switching from hybrid to pure-laser mode in just 60 seconds—enabling agile changeovers between thin/medium and thick-plate jobs, boosting both throughput and machine utilization.

With AB swing axes, supports V/Y/X/K bevels, as well as fixed and variable angles, and special-form bevel requirements.

Powered by the Baichu 9100 control system, enabling auto-ignition and verticality correction, plus pierce-slag removal and independent monitoring of three assist gases—for higher production efficiency and a more streamlined process.

With “SkyEye” vision for remnant stock, batch-scans irregular remnants/offcuts and accurately extracts complex outlines to increase sheet utilization. With AB axes, it performs batch secondary bevels on straight-cut parts—saving more material than one-pass beveling and faster than robotic secondary beveling.

The GWEIKE laser–flame hybrid cutter—dual technologies, stronger together—making high efficiency simpler, and cutting smarter.
