FAQ

What type of laser is the G2 PRO, and what materials can it engrave?
The G2 PRO is a 1064nm Pulsed Fiber Laser. It is specifically engineered for metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass, Titanium, etc.) and hard plastics (ABS, PC, etc.). It can also mark on leather and coated wood, but it is not recommended for raw wood, glass, or transparent acrylic.
What are the differences between 20W, 30W, and 50W?
Higher wattage means faster engraving speeds and deeper penetration. The 20W is perfect for daily fine marking; the 30W offers a balanced choice between speed and depth; while the 50W is ideal for professional users requiring deep metal engraving or high-volume production.
How do I ensure the laser is accurately focused?
The easiest method is the "Dual Red-Light Convergence": Adjust the machine height via the lifting knob until the two red dots on the material surface merge into one single point. This indicates the optimal focal point.
What is the default WiFi password for G2 Mobile?
When using the G2 Mobile App to connect via your smartphone, the initial default WiFi password is 12345678.
Does the laser require replacement parts or consumables?
No. The fiber laser source is a solid-state light source with a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours. Unlike CO2 lasers, it does not require laser tube replacements or other frequent consumables.
Is it mandatory to wear safety goggles?
Yes. The 1064nm laser beam is invisible to the human eye but carries extremely high energy. For your protection, everyone in the vicinity must wear the professional safety goggles provided while the machine is in operation.
Does the G2 PRO support rotary engraving?
Absolutely. The rear panel features a dedicated Rotary port. You can connect a Roller Rotary (for cylinders and tumblers) or a Chuck Rotary (for rings and bracelets) to achieve 360° seamless engraving.
