Portable engraving led the compact equipment orders recorded by the team, while dual-laser and desktop cutting systems showed how widely workshop needs can differ.

GUANGZHOU, China, October 19, 2026 — As Phase 1 of the 140th China Import and Export Fair comes to a close, GWEIKE Cloud is looking back at the compact machines that moved from exhibition conversation to customer order. The team's on-site updates repeatedly named G2 and G2 Pro, with G3 and MCore among the other products ordered during the show.

The GWEIKE booth brought visitors face to face with equipment for very different kinds of work. Some are planning to mark metal items or add personalization to a product line; others need more material options or a way to bring cutting into a smaller workspace. The exhibition made those questions immediate: what needs to be made, on which material, and at what scale?

Why the G2 family stood out

The recurring G2 and G2 Pro orders point to a clear use case for portable fiber laser equipment: marking and engraving suitable metals and selected plastics without starting with a factory-size system. For makers and small businesses, that can mean product identification, customized accessories or short runs of personalized goods. The exact machine choice still depends on the material, marking area and finish the customer expects.

The wider sales picture was more varied. G3 Basic and the G3 Pro/Ultra range offer different fiber-and-diode laser configurations for engraving across more material types. MCore addresses desktop cutting with fiber and CO₂ laser processing. These are distinct ways to build a workshop, rather than interchangeable versions of the same machine.

From the fair to the workbench

For visitors who discovered a possible fit in Guangzhou, the next step is a project discussion. Sharing the material, sample or design, intended process and expected workload will help the GWEIKE Cloud team compare relevant configurations and answer practical questions before a purchase.

GWEIKE thanks everyone who visited the booth and shared an idea with the team. The exhibition ends today, but those ideas are ready for the next stage of making.
